Growing up abroad, my parents had the most beautiful window treatments throughout our family home that became the unifying element of each room. The dining room where my mother hosted festive dinner parties late into the night was enveloped in luxurious silk drapery, and my parents’ bedroom was covered in toile, which brought my father back to his New England roots. I have always seen window treatments as art, unifying the mood and feeling of a room seamlessly.

Before starting the company, I was (attempting!) to decorate my own apartment and struck by how few options there were when shopping for my own window treatments. There were either hard to navigate high end boutique services or uninspiring premade big box options.

Having worked for over a decade in the fashion industry at brands like J. Crew and Steven Alan and seeing the progress being made in ecommerce, I realized there was an exciting business opportunity. I launched Wovn Home in 2019 as an online destination for easy to source high quality curtains, shades and the coordinating hardware needed to create beautiful custom window treatments.
